More than 250 attendees and 130 companies take part in this event organized by Balearic Marine Cluster in collaboration with The Superyacht Group
Palma is set to welcome the leading figures and professionals from the nautical industry with the arrival of The Balearic Superyacht Forum 2025, taking place on April 29 and 30 at the Auditorium of Palma, coinciding with the Palma International Boat Show. Organized by the Balearic Marine Cluster in collaboration with The Superyacht Group, this event is firmly establishing itself as the premier international superyacht forum in the Mediterranean.
Over the course of two intensive days, around 300 participants — including shipyards, brokers, yacht owners, engineers, suppliers and tech companies — will explore the future of the superyacht sector in the Mediterranean from a wide range of perspectives. The program includes keynotes, round tables, networking opportunities, and, as a major new feature, 10 business innovation hackathons, where multidisciplinary teams will develop real-world solutions for challenges faced by the nautical industry.
The forum is structured around two thematic pillars. On April 29, under the theme “THE FUTURE OF MARINAS & OPERATIONS IN THE MEDITERRANEAN”, discussions will focus on the evolution of marinas, the impact of nautical migration towards new destinations, and the growing charter market in the region. On April 30, the spotlight will be on “THE FUTURE OF REFIT & SERVICE INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE MEDITERRANEAN”, exploring infrastructure investment, the role of subcontractors, and the Mediterranean’s potential to deliver cutting-edge technical services to large yachts.
“This project aims to position the Balearic Islands as a benchmark region in the global superyacht industry,” says Guillermo García, President of the Balearic Marine Cluster.
“The forum is conceived as an open platform where everyone is encouraged to speak, listen, and exchange ideas — regardless of their position, title, or background. We firmly believe that the true value of this event lies not only in the quality of the content, but in the energy and insight that each of you, the professionals of this industry, bring to the conversation.”
In addition to the technical sessions, the forum will offer exclusive networking spaces, a guided visit to the Palma International Boat Show, and a private VIP dinner, reinforcing its role as a key meeting point for decision-making and the creation of new business opportunities.
The Balearic Superyacht Forum 2025 is not only focused on the present, but also looks to the future of the sector — promoting sustainability, talent development, and the competitiveness of the Mediterranean nautical ecosystem.
