Luis Nigorra Cobián has been the president of the Spanish Golf Courses Association since March 2021, when he took office after two years as a member of the Board of Directors, representing the Association of Golf Courses in Mallorca, where he holds the position of president. Since 2010, he has also been the president of the Board of Directors of the Real Club de Golf de Bendinat in Mallorca, as well as a director and advisor of the Nova Santa Ponsa Golf course, also in Mallorca.
Before dedicating himself to the management of golf industry companies, he held various positions as an advisor at Banco Popular and the European Investment Union. Regarding his education, he holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Pontifical University of Comillas and an MBA from IESE.
