Deputy Manager / Head of Expansion and Sustainable Development at Alcudiamar Marina
Mar Vera, born in Alcudia, Mallorca, boasts a rich maritime heritage and is now a prominent figure in the nautical sector. Graduating in International Business Economics and later completing a Master’s in Project Management, she joined Alcudiamar’s Administration department 7 years ago. Mar Vera currently serves as Deputy Manager and Head of Expansion and Sustainable Development at Alcudiamar, actively contributing to its growth and sustainability initiatives. As a board member of the Balearic Marine Cluster and collaborator with key nautical associations, she is instrumental in shaping industry standards. With her dynamic vision, Mar Vera is set to make significant contributions to the Balearics Superyacht Forum.
DIEGO COLÓN DE CARVAJAL
CEO of Astilleros de Mallorca
Diego Colón de Carvajal, born in Madrid in 1950, is a Naval Engineer graduated from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, with license number 1757. His professional journey includes roles such as Head of the Armament Department at Constructora Gijonesa Juliana from 1976 to 1981 and Production Manager at Astilleros de Mallorca from 1981 to 1990. He served as the Technical Director for the first Spanish Challenge for the America’s Cup in San Diego, California, from 1990 to 1992.
From 1992 until 2018, he held the position of General Director at Astilleros de Mallorca, and since 2018, he has been serving as the CEO.
MIGUEL ÁNGEL SERRA
CEO of Legalley+
Miguel Ángel Serra, a founding partner of Legalley+, has led the yachting department in top Spanish law firms. He holds degrees in law and economics, specializing in tax and urban planning law. Serra serves as a tax advisor to the Spanish Yachting Association (ANEN), a member of the Balearic Marine Cluster, and Responsible for its ‘Legal Affairs Committee’. He is also a legal advisor of the National Electric Boat Association (ANBE). Additionally, he is a member of the Spanish Bar Association, the Tax Commission of the Economists Association, and the Council of the Applied Economics Department at the University. With extensive experience in leading yacht sale and purchase projects, he advises private clientele on tax and legal issues related to superyachts, aviation, and real estate. Miguel Ángel is a respected speaker and contributor to national and international publications.
BELÉN MARTÍN
Managing Partner at Evolution Yacht Agents
Belén started her career in yachting in 1998, working onboard of different boats for eight years. In 2007 she started in Barcelona, with her ex-husband, her own company called J&B Yacht services. Then they were offered to run the Barcelona brunch for Yacht Help Group. This is where she met Beatriz Alonso for the first time. The adventure lasted three years. On October 2010 she was invited by Bea to establish a new independent company called EVOLUTION YACHT AGENTS.
EVOLUTION is today the result of the willingness of being the number one yacht agency in Spain. Their main core values are transparency, independence, excellence and fairness. Evolution has built good relationships with the local authorities and main representatives, not only in the Balearics, but in Spain. But, among all, they have built their own personality and a good reputation in the yachting industry over the years.

CEO of Ocibar Marinas Singulares
Toni Zaforteza is an industrial engineer with an MBA from Insead. Currently serving as the CEO and shareholder of OCIBAR, Toni oversees the operations of Port Adriano, Port Tarraco, Marina Botafoc, and Marin Santa Eulalia. In addition to his role at OCIBAR, Toni holds the position of President at Marinas de Baleares (formerly ANADE) and is a member of the board of directors at AEGY.
PEDRO SUASI
Director of Balearic Marine Cluster
Graduated in Nautical and Maritime Transport from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Pedro Suasi has developed part of his professional career on board different types of vessels such as: oceanographic, AHT, Supply Vessels and Superyacht +60m. After a period as a bridge officer, Pedro decided to embark on a new adventure in the world of business, working on different projects related to digitization, product development, quality control, data management and other projects focused on dynamisation and continuous improvement. With this experience, in 2021 Pedro began his last professional stage as Manager of the Balearic Marine Cluster, where today he leads, together with his team, projects focused on jointly improving the Balearic nautical sector.
