What motivated Evolution Yacht Agents to become a headline partner for the Balearic Superyacht Forum?
The Balearic Superyacht Forum has been a long-awaited event in the minds of the members of the Balearic Marine Cluster for years. Finally making it a reality, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to participate. This historic event marks a significant milestone in the superyacht industry in the Balearic Islands, and at Evolution Yacht Agents, as the leading yacht agency in the area, we thought we must be there.
Are there any recent or upcoming partnerships or collaborations that you’re particularly excited about?
Yes, in collaboration with other market-leading agencies that uphold the same standard of service as Evolution, we have established a network of companies known as the World League of Agents. The concept is simple – we are all independent agents at the forefront of shore support services in our respective territories, dedicated entirely to customer service, transparency, and excellence. Our goal is to ensure our clients receive exceptional care when departing our regions, placing full confidence in our fellow WLoA members to precisely deliver that.
Looking ahead, what do you see as the future of the superyacht industry, particularly in the Balearics?
I see a bright future in the Balearic Islands for the yachting industry. The reason being that here in the islands, yachts can find everything they need, both for crew and their guests. Marinas and shipyards that set the standard across the Mediterranean, a prime tourist destination boasting Europe’s finest beaches and waters. The islands are home to numerous Michelin-starred restaurants, host the flagship stores of top international brands, and are renowned for their people, cuisine, environment, and history. All these factors make the Balearic Islands a cornerstone in the yacht industry—yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Can you highlight some of the key services or initiatives your company offers to clients in the superyacht sector?
First, I will highlight the World League of Agents initiative, founded by Evolution and some other yachting agencies, aims to extend the excellent service provided by us to clients across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and South America. This initiative ensures that our clients have a consistent, high-quality experience when visiting ports worldwide.
Another notable initiative could be ‘Kitchen of Spain,’ where Michelin-starred chefs cook on board yachts, offering an unparalleled culinary experience to both clients and guests.
We also hold annual meetings and maintain continuous communication with the Balearic Government to stay updated on anchoring regulations and Posidonia preservation guidelines. This ensures that our clients anchor on sandy bottoms and respect marine ecosystems, contributing to the preservation of the crystal-clear waters and marine life that define our region.
